It works at first but after awhile the sync stops and can't resolve the name. And the iCal events have changed but it doesn't reflect on calender in my Phone. 😭, Update - 11/2/21. Now my autosync is disabled with no reason. So I have to make manually update it. - Update 11/10/21 - I followed the instructions to make sure the app doesn't go to sleep but events that are on my calender will have been updated with new date and time won't reflect thru the app. Lost a star for it. please update to version 2.0. Maybe it works better for you. please make sure you have enough disk space, otherwise the sync can be blocked by the system

I have setup ICSx⁵. It serves well to keep up with public holidays, etc. through WebCAL links. Support is excellent as well. Well worth its small price. I recommend it. Edited

This is working really well for me. There is one thing I would like to see added though. I like the option for setting a default alarm prior to each event, but to subscribe to some calendars that have wayyyy to many calendar events to want an alarm for each, but I do want to be notified of them. If there was an option for a silent popup that could easily be dismissed, and that would let me know something is coming up but didn't make all sorts of noise, that would be ideal.

Does exactly what it was designed to. The only minor issue is that it raises a notification immediately after failing to sync due lack of internet. Ideally it should wait for the connection and then sync silently. Only warn the use if the connection failed with Internet on. Edited

Update: it works until I change my password (at the source and in ICS) then it stops updating except when I restart the phone. Support guys were great, and we decided in the end that my firewall was blocking it. Workaround is that each time you change your password you have to uninstall and reinstall. Edited

Joanna, if you change the password on your account you have to edit it in ICSdroid also, of course! Does it work when you adapt the password? If you need support please write us to [email protected]. Thank you!
