Update: while the app is simple and basic function works. it has a terribly date look similar to Windows 95. Come on, people, it's 2025. The icons need updating terribly. And for the love of God, add some sort of pie chart or circle chart that shows your categories and what is being spent in each category. Removing 1 star due to a lack of updating and features. Edited

Thank you for your review Mike. There is no Pie-Chart Widget in Android, and from experience, it is difficult to make a good pie-chart widget, specifically when there are many entries. I have done this in the past, but I didn't like the result. Sorry, however I may reconsider in the future.

I bought/downloaded this like, half an hour ago. I might be missing something, but I also need credit card balances and payments, but I can't seem to do that easily(APR stuff) overall, this app does do better than most of the ones I've used, and showing the balance is super important to me. I just wish dealing with my credit card payments was easier. After MiShell response: learning I can have separate files so I CAN track my credit card spending/payments has made it a lot better 🙂 Edited

As you pointed out, this is not a banking app, Budget doesn't have a concept of accounts, it looks at finances as a whole. All of this is to avoid micromanagement, but you can have as many budget files as your device allows.

Budget Calendar is the most important financial program I use. I've used all three versions of this software (PC, Mac, and Android) and have found it to be consistently designed and well executed. My favorite feature of this program is being able to look ahead and easily have an understanding of how much money will be in my account at future dates. I can't recommend this software enough! Also the developer is extremely responsive to questions and provides great support!

This has been one of the best tools I've ever used for budgeting. It simple and straightforward, nothing flashy. I know exactly how much I'll have on certain dates and can plan out how much I can spend during certain months. It could use a few small tweaks and maybe the ability to add multiple budgets but maybe that's why it works so well for me because it's simple. I can plug in different recurring paychecks, one time paychecks, and all sorts of other recurring bills for years.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have struggled with budgeting forever because paycheck and bill dates vary from month to month depending on the way the weeks fall. I really needed something where I could look ahead and see where we will be moneywise on any given day at a glance. This was exactly what I needed and I've been using it for over a year. Perfect!
