Revised up to 2 stars, based only on altimeter function. Fairly poor performance, altitude jumps all over the place (+/- 50 ft), unlike my Garmin GPS unit from way back in 2007. Don't know if that is typical of phones in general, or just this app. Lots of misspelled words in app. Does a lot more than just provide altitude, but that's all I cared about. Couldn't imagine paying $15/week for this app. I wouldn't even pay $15 one time.

I can't make it work. It reports gaining elevation when I am going down. It is always reporting in feet/minute at ridiculous rates. Time is all screwed up. It reports elevation to less than a milimeter- no way that's accurate. I tried feet and miles and it reports to 13 decimal places, which is unreadable. The dial never moves. I don't know how this app would help anyone.

Awesome app! Love the interphase. Intuitive and smart. Great for when you are camping or traveling. Or even just in the center of the urban jungle wanting for 3D coordinates on the planet ro be known accurately. It carries a hefty monthly subscription fee if you wanna go pro, though. A happy fee, if your profession or hobbies might call for it.

ux already does not look fine, and like over 99% of apps it doesn't use fupl/agpl, and i just wanted the most reliable altimeter. i could not find reasons to rely on this. also it throws to another app for the altimeter, and both have ads, while the store implies this one would not have ads. came to google because i can't find anything on fdroid!

If you'd like your altimeter use to be punctuated by random, insanely loud auto-play video ads, this is the app for you. But of course, you don't, because no one does, which is why I uninstalled this app mere seconds and you will too. If you work at My Elevation and you're the one who authored this abysmal user experience, rest assured that you are terrible at your job.
