Just updated (don't know how many versions in between) and now I can't play offline anymore. That was the main reason for the game to have a simple distraction when no internet is available. Really a pity cause I loved using my own tilesets. Also don't like the new layout, the older one would stretch the tiles to the edges of my screen now there is always space wasted around the tilefield (when using "fill screen"). Would give it 5 stars if it would work offline too cause everything else was working great.

Thanks for the feedback! The online connection is required for getting the latest privacy & data protection statements for the European GDPR compliance. You can play offline using "Shisen 2 Ad-Free". It's available for purchase on Google Play.
As to the layout, I'll add an option to use the full screen again in the next version.

This was a great game, but it was ruined with the last "update." I cannot start a new game. There are weird and pointless "settings." Uninstalling with prejudice.

Mr. Eckbert changed the game to where the menus are different. Is the older version available? This one is unplayable for me.

Latest version has ads that obscure your score every other time you play. It takes away from the game -2 from my original 4 star review.
