Extremely outdated design. No option to pan around the map and select the regions during setup. Instead the user is forced to spend an unnecessary large amount of time and type the name of the city or jurisdiction, often unknown. There's a follow me feature which is a major battery drainer. Many areas in Metro Vancouver overlapping on the map. App is a great concept but terribly executed. Developers refuse to listen and modernize the app and features after 7 years.

I have been relying on this app for around four years now! It is indispensable to me! As soon as the weather, air quality, and storm potential changes, the alarm notifies me almost immediately, with the complete published notice! Amber alerts and civil emergency alerts occur almost instantly, whereas my cellphone provider does not! This summer, we have had THREE tornadoes; we have NEVER had this before! Alertable kept me informed. This is THE app to have; it could quite literally save your life! Edited

It is very useful, thanks. The messages are not always that clear to understand (eg same sound for warning as for warning cancelled, and the wording sometimes not being the clearest), but it is still very useful. I wish it gave you more options as to what alerts to hear and which to leave silent. But thanks for the app, it's useful.

I do like the app - weather updates are quick, accurate and timely. What I would like to see as an update would be an option to make the alerts continue to sound until the user acknowledges the alert. I live out in the country in a region that has a fair amount of bad weather. Especially at night when sleeping, I would like the audible to sound until I acknowledge it...kind of like an alarm clock. This could be an option that you could choose to use or not. In my case...being alerted to serious weather is quite important! Perhaps even having different "levels" of alerts....Watches....Warnings...etc. Other than that...it's a good app that anyone that needs to monitor the weather should have.
