Apps often don't download while VPN is active, it disconnects frequently, streaming often doesn't work or uses mobile data intermittently even when in WiFi. Not impressed with performance. 2024 update: it worked well for a while, but recently apps have stopped working while VPN is on. I've tried Gotham City and other locations with the same result. Not sure what has changed recently, but I will be cancelling my subscription and not coming back to this VPN in the future. Edited

VPN turns on by itself, doesn't even show that it is connected to VPN when I open the app, just in the uppercorner near wifi tag and battery charge icon. It turns it off and it starts up by itself. edit: the location services was set to always on. I had to completely remove all of the AVG products and reload them. it seems to be working now, we'll see. Edited

Hello Auri, you need to enable location permission and set it to "Allow all the time". When this permission is missing, the app does not see your network and it keeps proactively connecting and protecting you. I hope it helps. Thanks for the update. Have a good day. Hür*AVG

One of the worst troubleshooting experiences I've ever had with a VPN I've had the subscription for a couple of years and then suddenly out of nowhere they just decided to separate the VPN into a separate app. Now it doesn't work, and tech support has absolutely no idea how to help paying customers. Very unreliable, very poor service, would not recommend, avoid this VPN. its total garbage.

I would have given 5⭐, except the app keeps disconnecting when i have ot set to auto connect. I constantly have to restart it. I was going to upgradey services, but im already looking into other VPNs. Bc this is, not only annoying & defeats the purpose for having a VPN in the first place. Otherwise, when it works, it does what its supposed to do.

For past years, I've been using Avg Secure VPN. In the beginning, the interface with local and VPN Secure VPN wasn't working correctly. I had difficulty finding it to sync with each other. I finally figured it out. I have the AVG Secure VPN control while the local is off but connected to the hot spot just in case. I'm might be mistaken. So far, it is working fine Edited
