I came for the green noise and so far, I have stayed for the green noise. Their classic version which is free is extremely pleasant and helps me write tremendously.(Set vol just above the ambient room noise with headphones and let your brain filter it out) No sub req'd! In fact, the only purchase they offer is to drastically upgrade every aspect of your experience by purchasing the app for $2.99, an absolute steal for what you get. Could not be happier. Edited

This is the best noise machine app I've found, and I've tried several! The lifetime purchase was an easy decision to make, for sure. The only thing is I wish the sounds were a bit louder. I have them turned up all the way on my phone and it's still a bit quieter than other noise machine apps I've tried. Other than that, I am very pleased with this app!

Does exactly what you need it to. Very simple and intuitive interface and no fluff. It's a reliable offline noise app— I've started using it consistently as my go-to for white noise, so I even bought the upgrade (for only $5 one time??? a premium app that's actually priced reasonably????). I hope some more features are added (like ways to customise the noise and/or an equaliser). My one peeve is that it won't play while other media is playing— it either stops or forces the other media to stop :( Edited

we live near a train track, when we first moved in it wasn't a problem, (quiet zones) until the rules changed.... I couldn't sleep we couldn't move, it was driving me crazy. my husband found this app. we found the right frequency, I was out like a light. it's been six months since that fateful night. quiet zones have been reestablished. all is quiet except for snoring. doesn't matter though, I've got my noise machine. thanks guys. this is exactly what I needed. rest well.

Ok, I have currently used this app for ten minutes, and I honestly can't sing enough praise about it already. I write constantly, but I occasionally have really bad brain fog. I put on pink noise because it scratched my brain in the best way (autism). I started writing and I felt my brain immediately focus. My writing became almost effortless, and all of my thoughts flowed so much easier and without resistance. And the premium version only being a one time purchase of three dollars is Amazing.
