The new update is terrible and I was forced into it and you would think if they force you to update it they would have all the bugs fixed but no! It pretty much freezes up on the loading screen and when it finally does work it gives you all the highest Spades every single hand. Now I've lost a game that I enjoyed so I'll be uninstalling until they fix the issues. If you think your partner's bidding was bad before you haven't seen anything yet! My partner can't bid a hand to save his life! Edited

Boring design and shoddy programming. The computer on your team is running exactly the same as the computer on your opponent's team. Your "team mate" frequently makes moves that are in direct opposition to winning, which is unendingly frustrating. You can't even play with real people! If you want to play spades on your phone, choice literally any other app because this ain't it.

You're partner is a dumb computer. Not an AI BECAUSE AT LEAST, it's supposed to learn how to play. Which this computer does not. ADS for me isn't a problem, I simply close out the app when the ad starts and open the app back up, and it takes 5 seconds or less. Any game, you can do this to skip ads. I like playing spades without real partners because most are slow, this game is fast playing, and saves your game. Multiple settings for different game type.

Really enjoyed this app. Easy to use and simple. Until the last update. Now, when you open the app, their name "Blackout Labs" with a black screen stays up for 15-20seconds. Its super annoying as a busy mom to little people. Sometimes, all I have is a few minutes to play before called away, and that 15 sec waiting for a game to load that use to open instantly seems like an eternity. Ill give it a few weeks to see if they at least adjust the timing; if not,maybe it'll be time for a change.

One of the better Spades games. Why 3 stars? Not the ads, but the ad formats. First, there are now mini ads at the bottom of the game. Ok, fine... The ads in-between hands and new games are not the type that run for 5-30 seconds and give an X out option. You have to click them, wait, back to game. It's pretty forced. I'd be happy to purchase the game for an ad free experience, but the Google market seems to have gotten away from that. Sad.
