I want to check the news and suddenly I get interrupted by ads. I'm fine seeing an ad-banner but a full screen ad in a news app is absolutely ridiculous. Simply and automatically degrading your own app. I've just uninstalled it and I'm going back to Twitter, thehackernews and bleepingcomputer websites, simple and effective! Edited

Used to be good but now plagued by noisy regular adverts. Inappropriate for work.

Good app with some decent new articles, would happily pay for the ads to be removed but you have to create an account with a social media account (twitter, Facebook or gmail) to get the most out of it and no option for a plain old email and password. A lot of people in cyber security don't have social media accounts or are against using them as sign ups. It seems the developers have missed the point and their target audience. When the ad trial runs out will uninstall and look for an alternative.

Paul, thanks for your feedback! We designed the app to be fully usable without an account; you don't need one to read, have favorite topics, get notifications, etc. Only commenting requires an account, hence the connection to a social profile (this reduces spam, which is a lot of work to fight as a small publisher). We'd love to hear if this helps.

It is late night, people around here are sleeping. Opening app to check out some news in themes this app supposedly can provide, and - boom there is video add with loud music! Come on! Seriously? You should consider what types of adds you include! Sorry, only one star because that program can't be used in quiet places. Uninstalled, looking for alternatives. Edited

Thank you very much for alerting us to this ad, we are looking into this now to ensure we eliminate overly intrusive ads. If you have any additional info on the ad we would very much appreciate if you drop a line to
[email protected] to help us pinpoint the ad unit type. We will fix this, and hope you will give us another shot!

It's kind of weird for that the only sign-in options for a *cyber security* related app is through Facebook, Twitter or Google - leading corporations that are notoriously known for the exact opposite of security. It would be nice if we had other sign in options. Other than that, keep up the great work devs! The app works wonders! Edited

Thank you Zayra! We hear you, though naturally it is those companies that provide the most common sign-in mechanisms. We'll aim to add additional ones in the future.
