I have to use this to order food at my college, it takes multiple attempts to order food frequently, orders will be randomly kept in cart after I order, and notifications don't seem related to how far along my order is. The app works, basically, but it's often annoying to use and I wouldn't recommend it to any institutions organizing cafeterias.

First - the app is a terrible name and hard to find. It needs to be more unique to be easy to locate. Second, while the app itself worked fine for me, it wasn't until later I noticed that the prices were slightly higher through GET Mobile than when I order direct. I spoke with another patron who told me that there is a $0.50 surcharge. I was never made aware of any surcharges, but it turns out it was precisely about $0.50 more expensive than ordering direct, making me believe that he was correct in stating the surcharge. Finally, I used this only for Starbucks at Stony Brook Hospital, and it turns out Starbucks has their own app (much easier to find) and doesn't charge any surcharges. Guess what app I'm going to be using, if any, for mobile orders? Honestly, if there is a surcharge, it MUST be made clear up-front. I recommend all users to closely check the charges/prices against direct prices.

Hi Harold. Thank you for your message regarding the GET Mobile app. We have directed your feedback to your institution’s card office for follow up regarding the implementation of the ordering component.

This app doesn't even work. It takes about 5-10 minutes for each page to load, at which point, if you do get through to ordering, it either crashes or pops up with an error claiming you need to check with your card provider (despite never putting in a card). Tried this on multiple devices, same issue. Simply doesn't work, not worth the storage space on your phone... EDIT 1: Finally started working somewhat, but now it shows that the businesses are *always* closed, when they clearly aren't. Edited

Loads slowly, crashes often. Inconvenient interface, and picky about actions. The simple appearance and design give false hope that the app will run smoothly, whereas in reality it takes a full thirty seconds of loading to tell you to pull up a selection of one(1) available options. Very unimpressed, yet here I am, since it is the only way to order food ahead on campus.

The app does not work at all for opening doors (Mobile Access). I left my key in my room accidentally and tried to open the door with the app, but, much like many other reviewers said, it says, "Please enable location services," even though I have location permissions set to "Only while app is open." I also tried "Ask every time," but either way, the app still tells me my location is off.
