App seems to have improved in performance over the past few years (less buffering, fewer glitches)...plus the addition of shortcuts is cool. Oddly, I am not sure why the app would have the rewind 15 sec on the left \ FF 30 sec on the right, but opposite in the notification bar? Weird...should standardize with similar approaches for both. edited review: within 24 hours, iheartradio's customer service team reached out to me to troubleshoot the issue. I went to open the app to take a video recording of the favorites refusing to load, and they are now spontaneously working. I can't in good conscience give it 4 or 5 stars due to the inconsistency, but i can at least bump it to a three because it's working now because it's working now Edited

UPDATE: The glitch is FIXED-thanks! Will Not play 98.5 The Sports Hub for whatever reason. Please fix ASAP! I can play other stations. App still slow responsiveness upon start up. App got slow upon opening, says still playing but it isn't then it refreshes. Can get very annoying especially given the amount of times it just loses feed. Good but needs work. Unexpectedly loses feed. It gets pretty annoying to continue to restart feed (not podcasts).

I used to love iHeart but since the update in June I get: Oops, looks like something went wrong. While I'm listening to a podcast it will stop. When I tap pause then play that pops up. Or after work I try to play my podcast, that pops up. My wi-fi is fine works with other devices & other apps on this Galaxy S24 Ultra. I have to turn my phone off and wait then turn it back on. Restarting does not work. I have forced stop & cleared the cache several times. Uninstalled & reinstalled the app too.

I'm only giving 4 stars because no matter how many times I click "thumbs down" on a song, it keeps playing... it's the most annoying thing ever! I made my own playlist and although I appreciate other songs playing (that I may or may not add to my playlist) I'm sick and tired of this app not working well when I don't want or like a song. I wish there was a "delete" or "block artist" options. besides that, it's great!
