If you provide your app as a free or even a trial version, at least allow the user to use it effectively! I may have liked it. Hence, buy it. Furthermore, asking for a monthly payment of about $10??? NEVER!! In the free version, you seemingly allowed to configure the quality of the recording which defaulted to 44khz. Having years of audio editing experience, I can tell that was not a 44khz quality. Even 48khz Wave did not make any improvements either! Uninstalling!!

Hello! We appreciate your comments about the subscription pricing and understand that it may not suit everyone. Concerning the recording quality, we’d like to investigate this further. Could you provide more details about the issue via [email protected]? We hope you’ll consider giving the app another try in the future.

USER BEWARE!! On multiple occasions, and after almost every update or phone re-start, ALL of my recordings (seem to) just disappear! POOF! GONE! I set the storage location to a folder in my SD card, but for whatever reason, the app randomly decides to erase what *I* have set, and returns itself to the default storage location. Not a HUGE problem, since I know where my files *actually* are. But come on! This simply should NOT be happening repeatedly - whether or not I pay your Pro prices. Edited

Hello! Thank you very much for reporting this issue! The app should definitely not be doing anything like this - this sounds like a technical issue. Could you please contact us via the in-app "Help&Feedback >> Other" section? This would be very helpful for the team to identify and resolve the issue. Best regards, Nadia

I had high hopes for the Sound Recorder Plus, but I deleted it after a couple days for two reasons. First, finding recorded files was like looking for a nail in a haystack. Second — and the real deal breaker was that the app took over as my default audio app and nothing I could do could fix it. Every audio file I clicked on was hijacked. Waste of time and money. 4/22/25 Response to Developer: I tried the default app setting and your app still took over. Only restored after deleting the app. Edited

Thank you for the update! Another option to deselect Sound Recorder Plus as the default app for audio files is to tap and hold the Sound Recorder Plus app icon >> tap ⓘ >> Set as default >> Clear defaults. When opening audio files, the device should ask what app to use. Best regards, Nadia

This is an amazing recording app. You can just about record any concert, nature sounds, speakers or music withing a noise filled room, hall or outdoors. It's amazing how clear the quality is. It's almost like it knows which sounds your trying to capture or record and it does it intuitively. It's an amazing app. I just wish it didn't cost. Overall it's great! I totally recommend it. It's easy to use, easy to find recordings and is a great recording tool!!!

On my new S23 recordings default to a subfolder in my music folder, a ridiculous place to store "not music". I created a new folder (called "Voice recordings") directly in my internal storage. The app cannot see it. It can only see audio folders for other things, like ringtones, podcasts, alarms, etc. You ever have your music playing on random and have it interrupted by a recording of your mileage, or a shopping list? Or try out an alarm only to find it's last week's to do list? Stupid. Edited
