This is the only app I've been able to use the Samson Q2U USB microphone with. I've tried a handful. The microphone's built in live zero latency monitoring works also, and it allows you to independently control gain and monitoring volume from within the app. The only thing that doesn't work properly is that I can only record the audio as stereo, despite it being a mono microphone. I'm unable to change the selection despite the option existing in the menu.

I typically use this app to record 7 mics at once from my behringer umc interface. 96000 sample rate, 24 bit, 7 lines, 0 issues. It's easier to set up a laptop of course, not having to bring a laptop is really nice. The app can record with the screen off, and will use very little battery while doing so. I saw a loss of around 5% per hour. Record in flac, and you can go a few hours before having to stop and restart recording. The app will split files at 2GB.

I'm using this app to record on the go with a DIY stereo binaural microphone connected to a USB adapter made by Boya (BY-K4, 48kHz 16 bit ADC). No other Android app until this one allowed me to optimally set the input level on loud signals in order to avoid clipping. Stereo small and portable soundcards are rare; another one is ADA-17 (Axagon, 44.1kHz 24 bit recording) and prior buying this app I tested it without success on many smartphones (it worked only on Windows). Now it's working fine!

I can confirm this works with the audio interface from behringer (u-phoria umc22). Question: Would it be possible to record from the Android device itself (let's say from Spotify) AND from the audio interface as well? Intended use case: Play track via Spotify and play drums (which is recorded via microphone plugged in into the audio interface). Thanks in advance!

operation is simple and efficient. I'm using a UR22 mkII sand the audio quality is superb. I initially gave it 4 stars, lamenting the fact that it couldn't play back without a USB device connected, but this turned out to be an error in my part. It can playback locally on the Android. Although for $6, I do wish the UX was slicker. Edited
