I really enjoy the app, and it's more convenient than flipping through several books and printed FAQs to find the rule I am looking for. I also appreciate that the team is on top of rule changes and FAQs. I rate the app only 3 stars because unit datasheets should not be locked behind a paywall. Let alone only available after an expensive physical book purchase. Especially when those datasheets were free before the codex release.

Great interface and useful features like Battleforge and Command Bunker. However, the lack of support for Legends units limits the app for casual players. Many of us still use classic models like Deathwing Command Squads in friendly games. A toggle to enable Legends in a local or narrative play mode would make the app far more versatile and player-friendly, without affecting competitive balance. This small change would help support long-time hobbyists. Edited

app works fantastic easy to use, would be nice if it had a feature to just catalog units and inventory all your minis. the locked content blocks for datatsheets is a pain ( you can't buy second hand codexs you have to buy new ones and enter the code in the back of the book to gain access to unit data) some minor quality of life improvements and removing the content block would make other army list builders obsolete.

1 star. It has the worst interface out of any tabletop game app. It is free, until the book that corresponds with that section drops, then it is locked down until you buy the book. At the same time, you pay a subscription to use the list builder, but if you don't have the book, then you only have half the information in the app. Other game companies have better interfaces, and are free. At least figure out how to make this usable if you are going to charge. Edited

I have a subscription to Warhammer+, yet I can't access the Space Marines content in the app. Also, the "report a problem" button just copies down system information and does nothing else. I pay $6.99 a month for access to your datasheets and you ask that I pay $60 more so I can actually access them (per faction). This hobby is already expensive as it is. For the price of the Space Marine Codex, I could buy a Terminator squad!
