Usually gets me where I need but has the same issues, even after updates: 1. Voice guidance frequently not early enough to make turns in time 2. Directs drivers wrong way down one-ways and through dead ends that aren't recent changes 3. Can't report road hazards/closures unless actively driving, which is impossible in a hands-free state 4. Lowers volume of music from other apps during voice guidance and gets it stuck low until after 2nd song (experienced with different phones and music apps)

The major problem I have is not getting enough notice, time wise, of an upcoming direction or location. For instance, "In 200 feet turn right." The problem is that I'm almost at the turn when I recieve the verbal notice. It's as if I'm 200 feet ahead of the command. In a couple of instances, it created a safety hazard as I had to make last second turns. I've also missed turns and had to reroute to get back to the route. Is there a "location fix" to correct my position?

I just got the new android update, and notification no longer shows total miles left, nor the time of an arrival, and it doesn't pop up when you're approaching a turn anymore! Please bring it back!! Edit: More than 2 months later, still no fix. I depended on this feature for almost a decade for my work. It impacted my work life a lot. Edited

I hate this app and hate you cant integrate with custom maps. I need desperately to give my grandma the easiest driving directions. All you offer is the construction zones, large intersections and best for time. Im trying to help her avoid confusing areas of my city and where accidents happen the most but you refuse to allow people to do this. I hate it. Make a tool for seniors and setting custom routes easier. ive even had you over ride specific routes chosen before. Completely ruining it.

2 very annoying things with reviews: 1. when you use the separate ratings for "rooms" or "food" or whatever, then go back and edit the review, Maps deletes all the text that was in those boxes! 2. when you try to scroll down and click "see all reviews," you can't because the nav buttons are covering the link. this is on a pixel 7, Google's own phone!
