As other apps from the developer, this one generates a random track - this time rythm only (not notes!). Eventhough it's seems it's too random, each segment of the track have its own rythm, no appearant connection between parts of the track, It's not an issue, u can edit them, plus it's advertised more like a learning software than as an aid-tool for composion. Hi, thank you for your review. Yes, this app is for training rhythm skills and not for composition. Random rhythm generation is purely random. You can just select in settings which notes are used in generation. Still it can be used for melody rhythm composition if you use short phrases like 2 bars that you can then repeat in your composition.

It is a good app, would have been better if it had more dotted notes and triplet variations, other time signatures as well. Edited

You can change time signature by changing Settings - beats number in row. For 3/4 set 3 beats per row and total 12 beats.

What an awesome app. Playing rhythms for audio recognition is exactly what i needed.

it is good, But I have purchased the pro version so why do I have to go through the lite version to open the pro version and the lite version is v7 whereas the pro is 6.8, am a bit confused......other than that it is a very good app.

If you have pro version you don't need the lite version. You can uninstall it. App version numbers of both apps are not related.
