This isn't very accurate on my Pixel 8 pro. Different hardware may work better. I was able to determine the tenths BPM doesn't increment smoothly. It jumps every ~0.6 BPM or so. 60hz requested is not 60hz output. There's also a noticeable buffer/lag every half a second. Definitely compare this against a known source to see if it works properly for you.

Great simple app that gets the job done (but not in sunlight). I used it to check the idle speed on my outboard. A bit of white duct tape on the flywheel and in twilight it worked well. Phone LED's are not bright enough to use in sunlight, and they aren't brief enough flashes to give a true photo grade strobe effect, but it got the job done. Ads are not obtrusive. An improvement would be a bigger frequency slider. It's hard to get the right spot when you are looking at the strobe device. Edited

Great little app! The strobe light on my turntable burned out and all of the lights in my house are LED. I was able to use this app to adjust the speed.

Nice idea and UI, but I doubt accuracy a lot. It flashed 42 times in a minute, when I set it to 1Hz Edited
