I've played for years but lately it seems evident it's being bot controlled. I will play a 1/2 game with full cell service and the minute I establish an advantage I lose connection and get booted. This has even happened over WIFI. The other players will also start randomly ganging up on me for no reason even though it makes no strategic sense which seems like something only a bot system designed to prevent someone from winning would do. I don't find it enjoyable anymore it's just frustrating

Obnoxious ads, utterly infested. 100 premium currency for the cheapest things in the shop, everything is locked behind it. There's trickle feed of "2 free currency" a day behind an ad wall that just WILL. NOT. STOP. 5 ads in a row, still won't return to the game or pay the offered "free currency", instigated new ads upon relaunching the game, and everywhere in between. I'll go dust off the actual board game and set that up to play. It's easier, less intrusive, and it's an identical experience.

This game is great and I love Risk. I do like that there are two rotating free maps per week. I do wish there was an option to build your maps or game modes without real purchases. I'm never going to spend money on the app, and I'm not going to play every day for a year to save enough gems for one single purchase. So it's fine for a little while then I'll get bored and uninstall. Gem rewards should be directly related to play time or wins. That would incentivize you to play more.

I want to give this a 4 to 5 star, but lately, it keeps freezing on me, and I lose my ranked matches. When I say freezing, I mean that I can't move. When it freezes, I try to back out and re-enter the game, but it never lets me re-enter. No, it's not a connection issue. I checked my network speed, and it's perfect. Also, other times, when I am about to enter a game, I will automatically get a forfeited loss before the match begins.

I wish I could give this more but I'm too annoyed. anytime before you start a new game you have to watch one 30 second ad. sounds easy except the ad takes you to the download page, then when you back out the game reloads it's entire start menu and guess what you have to do, yep watch another add. I have watched more ads than I have played. the game is good though.
