I’ve been using Life Diary for a long time and truly loved it. However, after the latest update, I removed the passcode and fingerprint lock from the settings, and then the app restarted. To my surprise, it still asked for a passcode — and my old one didn’t work. I tried everything but couldn’t access my data again. Since I hadn’t linked the app to any account, I had to delete the app data, and as a result, everything was lost — all my memories, writings, and thoughts... gone. Edited

about 3 weeks ago they took out all of my journals. I've had this app for 3 years I bought it 3 years ago. I didn't have any trouble until they started messing with the AI. the first two days the AI worked fine then I started getting an error when I opened it and they tried to fix the problem but never have fixed the problem. now all of my journals are gone again. I have maybe 50 left from 2022 and I had some from a few days ago. that's 3 years of journals that are gone again. Edited

this is terrible! I logged in one afternoon and all my entries disappeared. Their titles/dates are there but the entries are gone. What's worse is that the app is now crazy expensive! I didn't even buy it when it was super cheap, was considering it tho. Now there's zero chance of me buying it, ai or not. C'mon, $15 a week?? reply: your diary app is $60-$75 a month. I could get a full year of Replika ai with a month's worth of your app. Your app is 3 times the price of chatGPT. Edited

I've been using this app for years. As a paid user (from back then when the price was reasonable), I am all for this app. It's really simple, I like the styling options, and it's just comfortable to use. Leo (the AI) seems kind of pointless and, as I mentioned, the price for Premium is outrageous now. I got mine for $7/year which was fine and I didn't mind even if I didn't journal often. Hoping I don't lose that as a long time user. This is the best diary app I've ever used, please don't change. Edited

This is a great app for serious journaling and memory notation. They have really improved it. The AI helps you get started if you need it-but it's not required. Color and font selection are meaningful personalization pieces. The straight, easy-to-operate system is a breeze. I recommend this to anyone.
