The game COULD be fun without the greed. I've sunk HOURS into grinding to beat just level 8. Permenant upgrades come very slowly and barely improve anything. Every game requires an ad at the end. Every good upgrade mid run requires an ad. Rerolling is an ad. Getting upgrade material is an ad. Everything is an ad. Even if a run lasted 14 seconds because the enemies take 3/4 of your health before you get your first option to upgrade. Just feels like an ad player more than a game.

It's a lot of fun. Edit: new update wrecked enemy balancing. I have to go down an entire group of levels to complete. I was on 8-4 before the update and the most I can complete now is 7-1. I have legendary and epic gems equipped. I do like the new look but this is a problem. Edited

This game is pretty fun, but it's definitely got its downsides. My biggest issue was the sound/volume. I like to listen to music when I play these types of games, so I'll typically mute the sound effects and background music. But it seemed like every time I muted the sound effects, it'd only last for one round before being deafened by the clicking of buttons again. Every action reset the sound, and having to go back every time I came to the home page was pretty annoying.

Very disappointed. I was playing for 5 days and I decided to pay the 4.99 for the no ads promotion. It was going great! Then this morning I try to play, and there is no weapon for my guy. It says 99 combo and I'm just being attacked. I restarted my phone and I still had no weapon. I went to go remove all my gems and then redo them again and still no weapon. So, I deleted the app and then reinstalled it. Yet, now it went back to the very beginning and I lost all my progression AND the 4.99 deal Edited

It's a decent game to past time with. However bugs that lock out progression (from the home training) really make it hard. I did a training, and the UI is glitched so I can't finish the training since I can't see it anymore. Meaning I can't start others for stat increases that way. I'm stuck to puzzle pieces to upgrade my DPS..
