The new continent Side Solistia takes place in the world of Ocotopath Traveler 2 which is exciting, but the translation is horrible. Grammatical and spelling errors are all over the place. The tone of every character is flat. There are 0 conjunctions making characters sound stiff. It honestly looks like they used Google translate. The prices are still too high and the banner summons seem worse than the Square Enix version. I'll keep playing only to see if the story is good.

I love this game! The story is so good, I can play for hours on end. The English translations can be a bit inaccurate at times, but it does not hinder the story (No English voices, however). My only major gripe with this game is the STEP-UP challenges. The paid rubies for them are incredibly expensive, and you could spend $60-$70 to complete a STEP-UP, with no guarantees of getting the character. However, there is no need to pursue those, and you get a great experience without spending a penny.

This game is fun, engaging, always updating, stalling out around 60 though trying to find better ways to get experience to complete the higher up quests. The combat system is cool, very innovative, only thing I find frustrating is not auto healing when automating combat. if they could find a way to utilize all of your champs skills instead of just attacks it would be amazing

This is from the perspective of someone who played the first 2 games on console. Compared to the console games, this is clearly a smaller scale experience, but it still has the great art and music this series is known for (even if the music is mostly reused from the console games). There's no English dub, which is disappointing when the console games have great dubs. Pro tip: Find a good team early and don't bother training anyone else. It's a more authentic RPG experience that way.

My gaming experience has been awesome for this title. Played both OT and OT2 on steam and this is a little different but still satisfying my on the go octopath gaming needs. Some prices are a bit high, as are costs for in game requirements of resources for steps and growth, et al, should be more affordable. Otherwise you can do just about anything without ever needing to P2P it's just a longer grind.
