Another Update: deleted the app. It's freezing too much on start up. UPDATE: Knocked it down to one star because now the app is crashing daily and I'm constantly resetting just to play. This sucks because I really love the game. Great when it works. I love the game and purchasing additional puzzles and hints are decently priced. However, the app freezes constantly on start up. It usually takes a couple opens and closes to actually get it working. Once it's working, it's fine. Edited

Interesting and reasonably challenging word game without all the ridiculous graphics or pop-ups that screen fail or pretend they know your IQ. The only thing I wish the developer had done was explain in the beginning that the hints available are the only ones you'll ever get without purchasing. When I was first learning the game, I used about half the hints to see how they work, not realizing that once those 10 were gone that was it unless I purchased more.

I'd love to keep plating this but the bottom of the screen is covered by a black bar so I can't access the menu at the bottom very well, and if there are a lot of clues in a game I can't see them all and can't finish the puzzle. I have a Pixel 3a and I saw another review with the same problem on a Pixel 4. Maybe this game just isn't compatible with Pixels somehow? Such a bummer.

it's a pretty good game, especially when you're idle and just want something simple. it can be challenging. from someone who hasn't bought any new packs, im still stuck on a couple of levels, but that's the challenging part. also, sometimes, you can just shift the letters until you find a word you never knew was a word. fun times.

I love the Clue Puzzles. I agree that the other 'find the words' puzzles lend themselves to a lot of guessing and trial and error, but the Clue Puzzles remove letters that are no longer valid once you start getting some correct answers. This way, the harder clues can be figured out by answering enough of the easier clues and reducing the letters to choose from. It's a fun approach and I really dig it. I added the 80 additional Clue Puzzles for $4. They are definitely worth $0.05 each to me.
