The ads take up too much of the screen. I get a notification on a news event and when I select it, then I automatically get this large ad that takes up my who screen. When I try to delete the add by waiting through it to mark the "x" to get rid of it it takes me completely out of the original notification. Sometimes, I can reload it without the ad and more times that not, I lose original event completely ! It's too time frustrating and time consuming. I would rather pay monthly with no ads.

This app would be perfect were it not for all the cumbersome ads. I just don't have the want or the time to sit through ads before during or after each article I read. An ad here & there is fine but with every article??? No thanks. I'll stick to my Newsbreak which has very minimal ads if at all. Time to uninstall Edited

not recommended for elderly people with disabilities blindness too much garbage takes way too long and too many obstacles to even getting a local news article. I will try one more time to see if it will give me the local news if it doesn't I will uninstall this app. #Amem !

03-28-24 They asked me to update my review so I'm updating from 4 stars to 2!😾 I made the mistake to turn on notifications sounds, bad idea😾 I can't seem to get them to stop even though I have gone in the actual app & on the site to try to do so?🤦🏽♀️🙄😑 Developers please update this function/option & make it plain as day in our faces for us to disable😼 12-05-23 I love the app so far. I just wish it would be more accurate to send me stories that are more local by my location. Edited
