I have had this app for years, and I love it. I use it at least weekly, usually more. It's very simple, which is what a notepad should be, and the free version doesn't hit you with ads. It does ask to upgrade to paid, but it's very occasional

They don't tell you there is only room for 12 notes with this version and it takes up 200 kb, not 63 kb. If you want more room for more notes, you have to buy the premium edition. In spite of the message from the developer, the app is still too confusing to me. I want something simple, easy to use and understand. I found what I need. Thanks. Edited

It is 12 categories of notes. Just type notes of a category one below the other separating with dashes or blank lines. Thanks.

I use it all the time. Auto-saves notes on exit. The easy backup of all notes to email in ASCII format is ideal. Buttons at top of page are so handy. No glitches. Highly recommended; its strength is in its reliability and sharing features, but mostly, its simplicity. Edited

If you read my previous review please disregard it. I received another response about exiting out of the setgi vs page. Apparently on the Samsung J7 you have to use the button directly on the phone to the left of the home button rather than anything on the screen. That I formation solved my problem. Edited

The app does not have any specific button to exit the Settings screen. You just need to use the phones back button, the one to the right of the home button in your J7 pop. That is Android's recommend way to navigate backwards to previous screen. Any issues, please mail us.

2016: Finally...! A simple notepad that's easy to use. Thank you. 2018: This is the most useful app I have. I use it everyday―for everything. I've never encountered a problem or had a problem. Thanks again to the developers 2020: Notepad is my best and most used app. Just upgraded to Notepad Pro to widen my use: I anticipate the same high quality.
