I do appreciate what the dev is doing here. This app does exactly what it says for absolutely free. The ads are not invasive, and the app works very well. However, the reason for the 4 stars is the lack of option to choose what is read. The moment it is turned on, it immediately reads everything without a way to select what is read. You can change these via permissions per app, but if they add a feature for this in the "premium" tier (very affordable BTW), this app would be absolutely perfect.

Yay! Verizon bit the big one when they pulled their Message+ app. I have had arriving text message read aloud for years from that app for years before they pulled it. "Read My Text Messages" works great with Samsung Messages. With RMTM reading them to me through blue tooth headset I don't have to grab my phone to know who sent me a text and what it says and if I need to respond quickly. Edited

I love having my messages read out loud, but I wish it would adhere to bedtime do not disturb mode. I still would like do not disturb to override them being read out loud. Sometimes it doesn't work and I have to reset it. I think it's after being on silent mode. Edited

It works good. I like using it in the winter time when I'm skiing so I don't have to pull my phone out of my pocket to see what my text was. The only problem I have is it speaks text when I'm actually talking to someone on the phone. There should be a setting so it doesn't speak when someone's on the phone.

I love this app but is there a way that you can do where it only reads text messages I don't want it to read my notifications also can you put something in there that you can choose if you wanted to read both or just one that would be great
