Very dubious and dishonest billing practises. I got an email saying I had 7 days left in my free trial, then they charged me the very next day for the full subscription. Then tried to charge me for cancelling. I spoke to support on the phone and they laughed when I told them how they're engaging in suspicious billing practises. They know exactly what they're doing. Avoid this service at all costs.

Im a landscape photographer..... Every photo entered to this site gets rejected.... Because " subject not in frame" thought this was a market place for photography .... Turns out .... It's just a app where advertisers buy photos of their product 🙄 boring. If you're only interested in taking pics of candy bars and laundry soap all day this would be the perfect app for you. Edited

I downloaded three images from a 10-image trial account. Next day, my account was suspended. They replied: "Your Shutterstock account has been terminated and will not be reinstated due to suspicious activity flagged in our system. For security reasons no additional information can be provided." This is absolutely ridiculous! I did NOTHING wrong! I sent them pictures of my license, passport, and birth certificate. They won't provide any more information about their decision. They humiliated me!

Ive tried to cancel my account {under a different email} and yet I was AGAIN charged $29🤔. PLUS, for over a year I paid every month w/out trying to cancel & it's extremely messed up that the 10 downloads don't rollover!! So basically I'd forgotten about the subscription and was charged 12+ 📅months & I've nothing to show for it?!💸 It's not like it's only a few $/ month, it's $29! That's 💰$348/ year & I didn't download 1 photo that year. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAX 😔

I don't recommend Shutterstock anymore therefore we don't recommend you getting their app. The agency now takes a ton of rubbish and low quality content whilst in the past only used to take great imagery. Regarding the app the image loading is clunky and the mobile version of their website works better. I have been a buyer in the past but now buy elsewhere now.
