been using TM Soft's Whitenoise apps for 10 years now. Great sound. Great variability. Would love to make binaural beats on mobile app, not only on desktop. Would also love to see a way to instantly record a sound live and save it to the Sounds list so to use it in my own mixes with TMsoft sounds. I also wish the market wasn't so overwhelming. Finally, imagine if you could "follow" a theme of sounds, including crowd-sourced sounds, plus have a Day One-like sound journal of your travels? 😍

Realized while recommending this to a friend that I'd never left a review on the paid version. I upgraded from White Noise Lite something like six years ago and I've loved it ever since. I use it every night to get to sleep without my tinnitus bothering me, and sometimes during the day for ambient noise. I don't really like white noise itself, so the sound library is a fantastic feature.

Saved my sanity in the ER! I had to stay overnight at the hospital for observation due to dangerous high blood pressure, and I found the Lite version of this app to play background noise to drown out all the beeps and noise of other people sleeping. Without this app I would have gone insane!

been using this for years and while I love it, it regularly just stops working mid stream. I often wake up because the white noise has simply stopped. no explanation or error ever shows and I never have problems turning it back on. As much as I love this app, I'm so tired of this ongoing problem that I'm looking for an alternative. This problem has persisted through multiple versions of the app and multiple phones and it's now happening daily.

Edit (2025) - I've discontinued use because of interactions with Android Auto. The app white noise starts automatically when I get in my car and the foreground audio service that talks to AA can't be killed without a reboot. I suspect they are specifying the wrong media type. Other annoyances - 1) you can't remove the default sounds and 2) Even on a paid version the White Noise Market still forces you to watch sketchy ads. Not acceptable.
