When it works, it's a great little camera for my office. However, two stars because it's CONSTANTLY disconnecting itself. I have to be present to reconnect. It literally disappears from my app. Super frustrating when you're on vacation and suddenly you lose access to your security camera. Running one single camera, using Galaxy S22 Ultra w latest update

trackers in app😡. terrible camera integration experience. Very basic, but at least I can use SmartThings and Google home to control devices!!!! The app uses old WebRTC and relies heavily on slow cloud relays. Even if you're standing next to your router, the app still tunnels through TP-Link’s cloud unless the "Direct Access" setting is forced. Edited

Unreliable service, hardware and support. Bought into the kasa eco system right now multiple plugs and doorbell all need hard reset to work.. lots work only sometimes. overall low reliability, one switch physically failed, could connect to it via the app vut would no longer turn off the power. To use the warranty you have to apply and send documentation and then ship back on your own dime Edited

Simple and smart user interface. So easy to schedule on and off times for a smart plug, or you can just the plug on and off too. You may find it hard to believe but app designers can really mess this up. Good news. The Kasa engineers are as smart as a smart plug. Great app. I bought more of these smart plugs because the first was so easy to use. Years later I am still really pleased with these smart plugs and the great user interface of their app. Edited

For the most part it works. But the app often loses connection randomly and cannot control anything. Recovery is to wait until it finally decides to start working. Also, the widgets do not show real-time changes in status. Depending how you make changes the widgets will often be wrong
