I've been using Twitter (Not calling it X) for awhile now and it's been working fine until the whole X rebrand. A few friends and I talk in a group chat and everyday there's a new problem with the DM section. Sometimes it can just restart the whole app mid-type, even close the entire app while typing. And other times I get notifications but I keep getting this "Cannot retrieve messages at this time" message and can't see them. Y'all....SERIOUSLY!!!!! 😡 Can we PLEASE turn OFF the automatic scoll when clicking on a video!? 😤 It's SERIOUSLY, ANNOYING when you click on a video and if the video is short, the X function will automatically scoll to whatever video is next in that queue. It's dumb because the app (in the past) never did it before. A LOT of times you just want to watch something multiple times but can't because of the scroll function. Can this be fixed???

Edit: 5.23.25 Can't access my dms anymore. My mailbox is completely empty, and I get a permanent "cannot refresh mailbox" popup that only goes away if I close the app. I think I will move to bluesky original review: I have watched this app slowly lose functionality over the last year. When I open the app, it will give me a pop saying "cannot refresh at this time, no connection" all of my other apps work perfectly fine. if I could give zero stars for this i would.

Multiple operating issues. When selecting a video, it will auto roll into an ad and lock the video player. Also, if you are charging your device, the app will stop updating data, and no new posts will load. (Update) They fixed the power issue, but the ads are still annoying. If you move ads to every 3rd or 4th video, I'd use the video scroll more. Edited

This app is so annoying, constantly asking if I'm human. I've had reset set my password, even started a new account. I remember my user name ( I've written it down), and this app says it isn't the correct one when it is. crash, crash, crash...uninstall, reinstall...The app is not worth the effort, I'm deleting it , I have better things to do than this.
