We have had vivint for 2 years now. The main issue that we have is with the app. It currently will not open for me on my phone, and the app is up to date in the Play Store. If I had to use my app to get in and out of my house, I would have a problem right now. Also, since the big update for the app, the button for my garage button from myQ disappeared. When I get a notification from someone in my driveway, they are gone before I am notified, and the video buffers.

It's okay. Everything seems to work. There is one issue: when I arm or disarm the system, the app screen doesn't update it's color to reflect the arming status. So if I arm the system, the screen stays green until I close and reopen the app. But the control panel will change to reflect the armed status. Similarly, if I disarm the system, the screen stays red while the control panel will update to disarmed status.

App freezes causing me to uninstall and reinstall. Rebooting my phone doesn't work. App doesn't always match panel screen. Panel screen shows home is armed, App shows as disarmed. UPDATE - downgraded due to app not responding. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no difference. If I get notifications about someone lurking around, I can't even look because the app doesn't work. very frustrated!! Edited

The latest update causes the app to freeze, and you have to force stop it and then open it again for it to work. Also, video playback is hit and miss, and sometimes it will jump from the day you are scrolling to some previous day's feed. The video will also get stuck on a certain minute of the day, and you can't play another. Receive error of it can't play it. It worked better before the most recent update. Please fix this. UPDATE: I absolutely hate this app. Whennit detects movement by the time it opens, who or whatever it is is gone. It does not instantly opens. It buffers. Just not a good app. 8/2019 Just had the system installed and although we love the features, the app is sub-par and keeps closing every time I try to do something within the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. If I can't use the app, what's the point Edited
