My new phone doesn't have a pulse rate monitor, possibly because the Samsung watch does. When covering the flash and one camera lens with my forefinger, this app gave a reasonable estimate. The number jumps around. It leaves fingerprints on the camera! The 30 second advertisement took longer than it took to read additional information. Because of the ads I can't recommend this. Reduce the ads to a popup I can dismiss immediately, then I will bump up my review.

I don't know what the heck it was measuring but apparently last night my bpm was 4 and today 9. I'm pretty sure I'm not dead.... It also takes a long time to get a reading. Lastly there isn't an option to contact the developers. There is a rate option. But no space to explain the score, even though right above the stars it asks "where can we improve".

Perhaps it is a bit better than others apps but I will not even try to check it - it asks for purchase before the app even starts ! Off course you can try it for 3 days for free, but why I have to provide my payment details before it !? I tell you why: because you hope that I will forget to cancel it !!! Also the subscription (!) is ludicrously expensive !!! The business model of novadays app development companies is becoming more and more aggressive - nothing good from that !!! Edited

This doesn't work at all. You can put your camera against pretty much every object and the app will still give you a result. I also tried this on myself numerous times and I got different results each time, despite sitting completely still. I'm pretty sure my pulse isn't at 130 bpm when I'm literally half asleep...

Hi, sorry for the confusion. This app detects heart rate by monitoring the subtle changes in blood perfusion in your finger. For this reason, the camera is sensitive to certain colours (e.g. red). However, this does not affect the accuracy of our app in measuring heart rate. We would appreciate your understanding.

Does not work at all! I bought this and paid $49.99 and used it for months and thought it was correctly showing my BPM and pulse. Yesterday, I used the app to take my BPM and pulse, it said a reading. Then I used my blood pressure machine to take a reading of my BPM and pulse less than 90 seconds later. The two readings were completely different. I tried using the app and then my personal machine a second time, it still have completely different results. This app should be taken off Google Play
