It was really fast with a few minor hiccups. Initially when I downloaded the app the airport was not on the list so I was bummed, but when arrived to the checkpoint was updated in the app. The only minor issue I had was that the readers for the barcode was having issues and it was hard for it to read the barcode from my phone, after more than a couple of scans went through.

No longer used in the inefficient Atlanta airport. It was great and helpful while it lasted. Thanks for the great app! I highly recommend to everyone. However, it's unreliable if the Atlanta airport won't accept it. They just told us last Saturday 3/30/19, that they're not using it today. So we stood snaking around the long line for at least an hour. It took us 2 hours to get out of the airport.

I filled out the form on the app while on the flight, pushed the SUMBMIT button. When the plane landed, got to the Custom agent station, they took a photo of me, and the next thing I heard was "Thank you sir, welcome back home. You can go...". 30 seconds and I was finished. No paper, because the forms are filled out on the plane. What an great idea!!!! And it is a free app. This is great for international travelers. Edited

Customs was not busy during our return, but had it been it would be easy to see how this could save a lot of time. We were also chosen for a "random" whether that was a coincidence or not as we were the only 2 using the mobile system is debatable. If there was a line, even with the random screening, we still would have gotten through quicker.

Definitely a time saver! Moved through an expedited line quickly, like those the crews would use. But we didn't know to look for the mobile passport line until we were about to get into the regular line and had to backtrack. Also one thing to note is that although you can enter multiple people's passport info, you can only enter one person's declaration info. For example, I entered mine & my boyfriend's passport info, his declaration info and then mine, but his declaration info disappeared once I entered mine. My boyfriend ended up having to download the app and fill out the info himself. Edited
