You can tell a lot of love and care went into this game, this isn't the typical garbage microtransaction filled google play store stuff. I havent played unity of command or panzer general so I cant compare this to similar (but not mobile) games in the genre but it is very fun. The buttery smooth zoom mechanism is also super useful for mobile! Unfortunately I have to knock it a little since it is too easy to close the app mid mission and lose a bunch of progress if you forget to save.

It's good to play but it freezes and glitches. The units are high-powered to make the game last so I'd get two hours in and suddenly my units won't shoot or move (glitching). Also, 'save and quit' never saved my games, I had to play all the way through or lise progress. Absent these tech issues (not encountered in the original) I'd rate the game very highly. Edited

I like these games, but they add a "cloud" layer for looks that blocks sight and is frankly annoying. The game itself plays well, with some minor glitches. Edit: I realize the 3-star review was harsh. The games (eastern front and patriotic war) are really fun and work spending a few hours on... And a little money to continue the fun! Edited

Hi Nathan, I'm still working on the problem of the clouds. I think I'll remove them in the next update. You are right, they tend to be messy. [UPDATE] just submitted a new patch to the store. Hopefully, it will be live in the next hours (cleared most of the clouds on all maps) thank you for your time, sir!

Am I missing or not seeing something? Where is the 'user manual' that explains the controls, units, tactics and so on, i.e. the things one needs to know in order to make sense of the tiny little icons with numbers on the map? Where is the introductory tutorial that then allows players to familiarize themselves with the units and practice the controls? Where is the historical background information and the explanation of what will be the consequences of failure or success? Why would one care? Edited

I love this game I been searching for a historical war fame that's not pay to play. But let's get to the parts that suck I don't know how to save my games plus the game freezes up at time and that level has to be started over
