Repetitive and frustrating levels really took the fun out of it. The last level one on of the stages forces you to keep a slow unit alive while going through a gauntlet and if you lose you start over. Its not fun. The game itself can be fun, but between the cringey voice lines and lazy design choices in an attempt to keep things fresh, it loses its way. Edited

this feels like a single player RTS. the game is well made with lots of upgrades. there aren't any ads popping up or anything like that, which is nice. moving the units around and managing everything doesn't feel great with it being a mobile game. I would like to be able to select all units or groups of units and move them quickly, without having to drag each one across the screen. Edited

Definetly worth your money at first, I got the unlock all heros pack as I felt the game was great enough to put a little money towards, but there is a hero that's still locked, even after, probably after an update. Honestly charging $7.00 just to unlock a new hero is a bit steep. I don't think that's a good value for the money and wouldn't recommend that. Think it's also a little silly when you buy the 'unlock all heroes' pass that it charges that much to unlock a hero still. It's a lot, the game is a blast tho and easy to jump in and out of for casual games at work and such and it's beautiful, I like the art direction it took, but maybe the devs should take another look at how much they are charging for a new hero. It's a mobile game, and the new hero cost more then the initial purchase of the game. It feels kinda scummy to be honest, maybe give benefits to people who already made a big purchase like who bought the unlock all hero pass. I can see myself buying a new hero for $1 or $2 but $7 is pushing it. Edited

Absolutely great game, good pace, varied enemies, not pay to win, and cool art. I mean, I played the game from start to finish with the free heroes and it was a great blend of two of my favorite video game genres. The units and heroes all have unique purposes, and the levels force you to think creatively and use all of the units, tower types, and abilities. Great offline on the plane also.

I absolutely love this game. It has the same Ironhide feel, but different than the TD of Kingdom Rush. Some people say it is too hard, some say it is too easy, but it is perfectly balanced. It's called strategy. If it's too easy, up the difficulty. One thing that I feel is REQUIRED to make this game 5 stars is an encyclopedia like in the Kingdom Rush games. The enemies are unique and interesting, but it is hard to figure out how to fight them if I can't check an encyclopedia when I need it.
