I've always loved the kingdom rush franchise and quite frankly nostalgia is the only reason I still play. the game shoves in-app purchases in your face every second it can and anytime you go against someone with a paid hero you are almost guaranteed to lose if you don't also fork over your cash. extremely pay to win experience which ruins any fun you could have with it outside of just liking the series.

I like the game don't get me wrong but the cards you can buy make winning against your opponents too easy. I like the random choices in perks throughout. In all honesty though, I dont like that the towers attack opposite team. what could be used on your field to defend it gets used to end the match faster. It could quickly and easily turn into a pay to win. Prices are fair but still...what's the point in paying to win everytime with no challenge. It's fun when you run into someone else who paid.

Great game and a lot of fun, but I have a few problems I have encountered. #1 pay to win, the dragon deal gives too much power to new players and is not fun to play against. #2 when the opponent disconnects, the match is cancelled. this is a problem when you are about to win, but then your opponent disconnects and you don't get a win, and I presume they don't lose either. #3 More pay to win, the necromancer's horseman is too powerful, especially to new players. I love Kingdom Rush, but this game is just way too punishing for players that don't spend money. Yes, you can progress slowly, but there's no point in trying to gain trophies because you will keep hitting a ceiling until you upgrade stuff. It feels like there's very little skill expression, so as long as your opponent isn't stupid and has higher level towers than you. you probably won't win. I hold on to hope that the game will improve, but I won't play until it does.

The new patch *fixed* polymorph, but basically made it so I can't fight the pay to win characters. With polymorph making the enemies extremely weak I had a fighting chance even if the opponent was using it too, but now if I go up against a dragon I have no chance. I am in the top 4000 so not the best player, but I've played enough to know that this will make it so I just sink from here, because I don't want to spend $30-40 on a dragon. Edited
