The app was fine for like a month, now every time I go onto it the app says I'm "offline" and I can't access anything. I'm not offline, I'm on WiFi or data but for whatever reason the app doesn't recognize this so I have to go onto the browser and do everything manually. Also progressive cancelled my renters insurance after I paid my auto insurance fully. Not related to the app, but don't expect any communication on matters like that because I still have no clue why it happened.

Snapshot is complete bs. I just switched to Progressive for a lower rate and AllState is being canceled. On my last two trips, Progressive shows a total of 4 hard stops (there should be none) while only showing where 3 "happened" one of which was in the middle of an Interstate. Meanwhile Allstate shows 0 for those trips.

not only does this app eat battery (17.2% and 18.4% battery use in two days) and the "dedicated support line" for this app not answer their phone, it is also incredibly inaccurate in what it thinks is going on. I was wondering why I was only getting 4 stars, and turns out it thinks I'm on the phone chatting and talking when in reality at the time it claimed those were going on I was actually only using Maps and had the phone connected to my car's audio to listen to podcasts. The app is fine, helpful even, but Snapshot sucks. You're required to allow it constant access & it drains the battery. Turning it off doesn't help bc it'll turn itself back on even if the phone hasn't moved at all. The driving records are inaccurate, too. Some are logged, some are not. If you use hand-free through Bluetooth, it'll log it as if you're using the device. It has logged my trips as if I'm riding on a bus/bicycle & if you hit a pothole it activates hard braking. It's not worth the $.

The app is generally great, intuitive, and user friendly. However, I signed up for home owners insurance and I cannot maintain my home owners insurance through the app. In addition, I signed up for Snapshot in order to reduce my rates, and it is a bit ridiculous in how it judges driving. Both my and my spouse's driving have 5* ratings, but it's very difficult to maintain those ratings. I receive highly debatable and questionable negative marks, and there's no way to dispute their validity.
